So I also joined a couple clubs and societies during the year. To be precise, 4 clubs and 25 societies. I spent a fair amount of time interacting with a few of them, so I think they’re worth mentioning. I’ll put the full list below, and then mention a bit about them after that. I’ll highlight the ones I interacted with the most.

For the third and final trimester of my MSc program, I had the options of an internship, a Summer project, or a research thesis. With the tech market downturn, I had failed to secure an internship, so I joined a group of my colleagues to work on a Summer project instead. We were presented a choice of topics, and had to craft pitches for them. Most revolved around LLM’s, the hot topic of the moment, but there was also one to work on an XR project sponsored by Microsoft. That was the most appealing to me, and I was able to share my enthusiasm with the team as well. We were the only team that was interested in that project, and so we were selected for that one with no difficulties.

Continuing on with my second trimester after a nice long winter break, I had a slightly smaller course load, but found I was no less busy. This term seemed to focus in on a lot of AI/ML topics, which were the hot topic of the moment.

As my Master’s Program comes to a close, I thought it might be interesting to write up a brief review on my last year in the MSc Computer Science - Negotiated Learning program at University College Dublin.

As I continue to work on building out my portfolio, I am revisiting many of my old projects to try and piece them back together into a shareable format. I started working with Unity 3 a bit over a decade ago, and the rapid changes in technology have rendered many of my older projects obsolete.

Hello World and now Lorem Ipsum, this site must look like it’s all placeholder, but I swear it’s not. It’s just my team name for my University Summer Software Project working with the Microsoft HoloLens2.
